A little bit about us.
PAWS opened its doors in August 2014 as there was a real need for a doggy day care centre where people could drop their much loved family member off while they were out all day. We also Teamed up with Sarah Hatton our dog trainer and behaviourists to provide excellent positive reinforcement training. Since opening PAWS the team has grown as well as our group of much loved pooches to over 1000 registered pupils, we have dogs that come in every day and some that just come in a couple of times a month but they all hold a very special place in our hearts.
All of our highly qualified PAWS team is canine first aid trained, as well as having completed courses in animal psychology, dog handling skills level 1 and 2, canine nutrition, animal management and animal care NVQ's along with years of experience in working with dogs in rescue centres and boarding kennels.
The aim of PAWS is to offer first class service to both your dogs and their families that is bespoke to each dogs individual needs but affordable. We are a family run business and are committed to offering a specialist day care that aims to mentally and physically stimulate the dogs in our care, because we know that each dog is unique and needs to have an individual service that suits their breed, size and temperament. with our years of experience and knowledge in the animal industry we are the best choice for your pooch.
On drop off your dog will be introduced into his or her class room. On your dogs first day a member of staff will always be close to your dog for re-assurance and comfort as we introduce him or her to the other dogs.
PAWS is THE ultimutt experience for dogs, with a clear focus on meeting as many canine needs as possible within one place.
The team have brought their individual and joint experience and knowledge together to offer an excellent range of services to suit all breeds and temperaments of dog.
We have an onsite grooming salon, excellent positive re-enforcement training classes on Monday and Tuesday evenings, pet shop and our doggy day care centre where dogs can socialize, play and learn with their class mates.
